In a world where everyone is time-poor, the council is playing matchmaker to get small business owners in front of potential buyers.
At each Meet the Buyer event, a variety of local small businesses get to pitch their goods and services to decision-makers and procurement teams.
As well as serving as an introduction, these events allow businesses to gain a better understanding of tendering and procurement policies and to learn how they can become part of the local supply chain.
